Sweet Melissa Cafe in Laramie

This was a good find. Good ambiance, speedy service, and good quality food. What was surprising though was the range of the food they had. From burgers to thai to Indian to Italian to god knows what not. Must visit place if you are in Laramie, WY.

If you are thinking, "Vegetarian. No thanks." you're wrong. There are options that will scratch that meat itch and give you that protein you need. But seriously everything I've had here is so flippin good. Appetizers. Meals. Desserts. Drinks! (Connected to Front Street, possibly the best bar in town.) 10/10 would recommend to everyone.

My only problem with this place was that it was really difficult to decide what to order with so many delicious options available. I have zero regrets about going with the seitan bahn mi, and the beers on tap were delicious and paired well. Service was fantastic too, so this was really a vegetarian beer enthusiast dream come true! :)

Great food and service!

They make a killer adorable spiked chai. Everything about this place is so cute! It looks like a cottage inside. All of their drinks use paper straws! So eco-friendly and awesome!

I loved the food, especially the peanut butter pie! There choices for vegan options weren't as plentiful as I would have hoped, but still better than many places. The food was delicious. I would highly recommend them. Also, when my large party unexpectedly arrived, the staff took the time and effort to accommodate us kindly. It was very well appreciated.

I LOVE this place!! Every time I go through Laramie, I stop here, and they have the most amazing food. I'm sure even people who aren't vegan or vegetarian would love it. They have a solid and diverse menu, and their service is outstanding.

Rare to find such a great restaurant, especially with vegetarian food and vegan options. We loved it completely, the food was great and even the waitress was wonderful. We’ll be back whenever we’re in the area

Vegetable stir fry with Thai peanut sauce was heavy, tasty, and very filling. Haven't had much tofu myself, but Sweet Melissa's does a good job at giving it good flavor.

I love the food, drinks and atmosphere at Sweet Melissa. It was always a favorite in Laramie. I would love to see you guys make some sustainable switches. I hope you will switch to reusable straws or paper straws, get rid of the plastic toothpicks and switch to reusable condiment cups!

I couldn't believe I was able to eat vegan and gluten free in Wyoming but sweet Melissa did not fail to deliver. Our server was Glenna (I think I spelled/got that right) very funny, energetic and she pushed the experience up over the top. I live in Portland OR but if I am ever back in Laramie I will definitely have to go back and check out the rest of the menu.Thank you for a wonderful experience it was delicious.

Wasn’t expecting to stumble across vegetarian/vegan food of this quality on road trip. We got cauliflower wings (delicious vegan ranch on side) and veggie stir fry. Both were very good. If you’re lacking veggie options after national parks or road trip, this is your place. Called in an order and ate outside, but inside was very cute (and was observing covid precautions). Employees in masks and tables pretty spaced out if you wanted to eat there.

We love this place. It, by far, has the best salad in town. The food is so flavorful, you don't even notice there is no meat. I would recommend this place to everyone, even if they are not vegetarian/vegan.If there is a fault, sometimes the service is not on par with the food and you have to "advocate for your needs". Obviously that is not the norm, or I would not give it five stars.

Delicious vegan and vegetarian food at a decent price. Make sure you make a reservation if you are going in the evening, as it seemed very busy! The jerk pasta was delicious and the service was great!

Fantastic vegetarian cuisine! Even as an omnivore, I thoroughly enjoyed every bite. Try the Ukrainian beet salad!

Had an excellent experience here. I spent a week in Laramie for work just before the university started the fall semester. Sweet Melissa’s is a fantastic vegetarian cafe that has food that will leave carnivores and vegetarians both happy. The cauliflower Buffalo wings were delicious. It delivers the texture form the fried coating along with the flavor of the sauce. Sandwiches and soups were delicious. If you want fries with your sandwich or veg burger, heads up that they don’t serve traditional French fries- instead you’ll get a more home-fries style - and they were delicious.

Wonderful cozy atmosphere. Staff were friendly, attentive, but not over crowding. Fantastic food as always. The crabless cakes are to die for, their nachos are an awesome blend of flavors, without being overwhelming.

I'm not usually in for vegetarian but this place is bomb dot com! The cauliflower buffalo wings were great and the impossible burger was good. Their mac n cheese was on point! I highly recommend this place.

Best Vegan place EVER

There is so much great food here. My very meat eating husband likes the vegetarian chili. I like the chick pea Tika Masala, the egg plant sub and love the fried banana bread.

My wife and I are here for her birthday! We were driving through so my decision was made primarily because of other good ratings here on Google and other sites. It lived up to all of the good ratings we saw. The service was nice and very helpful. She did ask if we wanted extra options without explaining the extra cost. We loved the food! It was great experience.

Let me start by saying I’m not even close to a vegetarian and I love this place. The vegetable stir fry is fantastic. My wife love the burrito. If you want desert all I’ve got to say is fried banana bread.

We needed quality vegetarian food and we found it here. Recommendations were given by the Geological History Museum at the University of Wyoming by a wonderful meat eating grad student. I'm not sure he knows what he is missing but meat doesn't have to be in every meal. Delicious and a bounty of options covering every cuisine imaginable. The drinks also had unique twists and save room for dessert. Vegans welcome.

4 entrees, 2 appetizers, 4 drinks, and everything was so delicious. Great atmosphere, too.

This place is SO GOOD. I'm a beer-drinking sailor so my husband and I order from Front Street Tavern. We tried it out originally because the bartenders there kept raving about it, and even my largely carnivorous husband became a huge fan. I suspect witchcraft is involved to make vegetarian versions of dishes like these taste so good, but don't quote me on that.

I was a little skeptical about eating at a vegetarian restaurant, but now I'm a believer! I never missed the meat! Attentive service was an added bonus.

This place is a must go stop in Laramie. Terrific food and huge portions always make me wanting to come back for more. Busy at times, but cozy. One of my favorite restaurants.
